Service Agreement
Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By booking with GoGo Vans, you agree to be bound by these conditions.
Definitions
- "Company", "We", "Us", "Our"
- refers to GoGo Vans Limited, operating from Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland.
- "Customer", "You", "Your"
- refers to the individual or entity booking our services.
- "Services"
- refers to all delivery, transport, and logistics services provided by GoGo Vans.
- "Goods"
- refers to any items, packages, or materials entrusted to us for delivery.
- "Booking"
- refers to a confirmed reservation for our services, whether made online, by phone, or through our app.
Service Agreement
2.1 Contract Formation
A binding contract is formed when:
- •You complete a booking through our website, app, or phone
- •We confirm acceptance of your booking via email or SMS
- •Payment is processed successfully
2.2 Service Scope
Our services include transportation of goods from pickup to delivery location. Unless specifically booked as a 'man with a van' service, loading and unloading assistance is not included.
Bookings & Payments
3.1 Booking Process
All bookings are subject to availability. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for guaranteed availability.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payment requirements:
- •Full payment is required at time of booking for standard customers
- •Business accounts may pay on 30-day terms subject to approval
- •We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
- •All prices include VAT at the applicable rate
3.3 Additional Charges
Extra charges may apply for:
- •Waiting time exceeding 15 minutes at pickup or delivery
- •Additional stops not included in original booking
- •Out-of-hours service (before 8am or after 6pm)
- •Failed delivery attempts due to recipient unavailability
Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees are based on notice period:
- •More than 24 hours notice: Full refund
- •12-24 hours notice: 25% cancellation fee
- •Less than 12 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee
- •No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund
4.2 Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
4.3 Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel bookings in the following circumstances:
- •Extreme weather conditions making travel unsafe
- •Discovery of prohibited items at pickup
- •Customer providing false or misleading information
- •Payment failure or suspected fraud
Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Accurate Information
You must provide:
- •Accurate pickup and delivery addresses with postcodes
- •Correct contact numbers for sender and recipient
- •Accurate description of items including dimensions and weight
- •Declaration of any fragile, valuable, or special handling items
5.2 Packaging Requirements
All goods must be adequately packaged before collection. We are not responsible for damage to improperly packaged items.
5.3 Availability
You or an authorized representative must be present at both pickup and delivery locations during the scheduled time window.
Liability & Insurance
6.1 Insurance Coverage
All deliveries include Goods in Transit insurance covering:
- •Standard coverage up to €50,000 per consignment
- •Loss or damage during transit (subject to exclusions)
- •Enhanced coverage available on request for high-value items
6.2 Exclusions
We are not liable for:
- •Items not properly declared or undeclared high-value goods
- •Damage due to inadequate packaging by the customer
- •Indirect or consequential losses
- •Delays due to circumstances beyond our control
6.3 Claims Process
Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Claims will be processed within 14 business days.
Prohibited Items
7.1 We Cannot Transport
The following items are prohibited from our services:
- •Illegal goods, drugs, or controlled substances
- •Hazardous materials (explosives, flammables, corrosives)
- •Live animals (except by prior arrangement)
- •Perishable food items (without temperature-controlled service)
- •Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
- •Cash or bearer instruments exceeding €1,000
7.2 Special Arrangements
Some restricted items may be transported with prior arrangement. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Agreement Confirmation
By using GoGo Vans services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
